Eva Tilley is an aspirational aged care environment that disrupts the established norms of ageing in place for Australia’s ageing population. Tasked with reenergising an outdated offering in a timely manner, Studio Tate’s thoughtful narrative contemporises aged residential living.
With practicality and comfort key signatures, unexpected design gestures such as natural stone and vibrant pops of colour enliven the space. Colour and form provide individual character to each wing, while customisable features and decorative shelving encourages personalisation.
Sheer window furnishings in the Salon filter light on graphic terrazzo stone, with dusty pink walls offset by dark blue laminate and the curve of individual arched mirrors form an inviting space for residents to take a moment for themselves.
